Approximately, 8000 Starbucks outlets across the country played a 55-song playlist of her songs on repeat. This tribute was confirmed by Whitney Houston’s official Instagram account which is run by her estate. The post encouraged the singer’s fans to visit the coffee giant and celebrate Houston’s birthday with them.

The 55-song playlist featured some of Whitney Houston’s favorite hits like I Have Nothing, I Will Always Love You and I Wanna Dance With Somebody. The list was compiled by her former music director, Ricky Minor.

People who stopped at Starbucks on Thursday thoroughly enjoyed Whitney Houston’s music.
