Teen Titans Go! To the Movies is the story of the sidekick group as they aspire to superhero stardom.
The Teen Titans wish to head to Hollywood to chase their dreams. But before that a super villain plans to take over the planet and that puts serious questions to their Hollywood career and fame. The original show voice actors will be joined by Will Arnett, Kristen Bell, Nicolas Cage and Jimmy Kimmel. To make the Teen Titans follow the footsteps of their superhuman peers, writers Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic have written a comedy-packed script.
Following the lead of all good superhero movies, the movie uses the end credit scene well. While the credits are rolling down, there is an interruption of colored bars flickering across the screen. Very soon, you can hear the voice of The Teen Titans coming from the speakers. And not the animated childlike voices that are used in Teen Titans Go! To the Movies. But the actual ones from the original TV series version. There is a conversation between the beloved Teen Titans which ends with Robin announcing that,
We think we may have found a way back.
That might just be a hint that the show will return on television screens once again.
The show ran for five seasons and was a definite hit. Actress Tara Strong who played Raven on both the series shared that if the movie did well on the big screen, they might come back with season 6 for the original series. She posted it on her Twitter account, and fans gave all sorts of reactions.
Nothing is out about the revival of the show. But if watching the movie brings it back, a lot of us will be more than happy to do it!
