The Game of Thrones actor first won the qualifying group on Sunday in Manila. He was then victorious in the Vehicle dead-life, Overhead Press and Loading Race, which made him win the complete challenge. According to reports, in the last challenge, the Game of Thrones star was on the fifth position, but still had enough points to succeed overall. ‘The Mountain’ was able to place 4/5 360-pound stones on a platform within 41 seconds.

Since 2011, Björnsson has been entering the competition each year. For the past two years, ‘The Mountain’ bagged the second place before finally earning the title in 2018.

The World’s Strongest Man posted an update on social media, sharing the picture of ‘The Mountain’ as the winner.

While celebrating his victory online, the Game of Thrones star made a slight attempt at winning the hearts of his female fans. He captioned a picture of himself carrying a 150-kg sandbag saying,

Running with 150kg/330lb sandbag like nothing. Tag your friends that would like to be carried by me! Maybe 2-3 girls at the same time?

‘The Mountain’ truly deserved this title added to his name, and it’s time to give the Lannister enemies something to watch out for!
